All programming is carefully considered by using information gathered from audience feedback, and it reflects some of the world's favourite classical music encompassing symphonic, chamber, operatic, and choral works whilst at the same time using concert opportunities to bring newer, less familiar works and also world premiere performances to the public.
Sussex Symphony Orchestra also strives to bring works hardly heard outside major centres to its audiences and has attracted critical acclaim (please see press comments).
